Originally from Barcelona, Spain, Tania began painting in her teens. Largely self-taught, she is forever learning, experimenting, and searching. Living in the United States for the past ten years, and in Chicago for most of that time, she has continued to pursue her love for art.
Nature appears as a source of inspiration in most of Tania’s work. Showing an appreciation for an organic, aesthetic sensibility, she celebrates the sensuality of shapes found in the natural world, while incorporating human emotions and experiences. After nature, foreign lands and cultures are some of her favorite sources of inspiration, together with the pure joy of beholding vibrant, bold colors.
